Lace Wedding Dress for Gosford House Wedding

Spread the love

We made a bespoke lace wedding dress for Elisa’s wedding which took place at the grand Gosford House.

When Elisa first came into visit us she tried on some of our sample dresses to get a feel for what styles she might like. She did have in mind a design she wanted to have for her wedding.

Soon after our first meeting Elisa told us some exciting news that she was actually pregnant! Knowing this we decided to begin on the process of making her wedding dress later. We started after she has her baby and closer to the date of when her wedding. This ensures that we can take into account any changes to her body and make sure the dress has the perfect fit.

For Elisa’s dress, the main bodice was in a beautiful lace fabric. This bodice has long sleeves and high neckline with button loops and cover button detailing on the back. The skirt is made of a heavier fabric to give a more structured look but yet still gives a soft finish and smooth finish. It has train at the back that is not too long and has lace motif detailing that we had added to the train arranged in arched shape. The embroidery motifs are also place carefully on the front of the skirt. On the front it has pleat detailing at the waist. We also added a thick waistband for this her dress.

Elisa’s wedding took place at the very beautiful and grand Gosford House. It venue looked incredible and the lace details of her dress looked amazing within the decorative features of the architecture. The lace and embroidery details on Elisa’s wedding dress looks really nice. It really suited the intricate details and decorations in the interiors of Gosford House.

There were also lots of the other amazing people/companies that worked with Elisa on this day. Makeup by Holly Rox Beauty, Hair by Stephanie at Concrete Rose Hair and flowers by Save The Date Collective are some to mention!

Also thank you to Sinead Firman Photography for the beautiful photographs!
