Shirt Dress

The shirt dress is a summer staple. Light, flowing and you can make it in a variety of lengths. You can wear it open as a beach cover-up with some shorts or closed as a dress. Pair it with a belt and heels to dress up for nighttime or a pair of trainers or sandals for a perfect summer daytime look.

The pattern shows how to create the shirt dress.

You will find a paper pattern for sizes 8-30 in the pack posted in 2nd class. You will also get access to a video explaining the process used to make the dress.

We post your pack out on the next business day. You get instant access to the videos as soon as your purchase is confirmed. The link for the videos will be in the confirmation link you get on purchase. This is a one-time purchase for one pattern and lifetime video access for the instructions.

Sewing subscription

Freja Designer Dressmaking also runs a subscription for a dressmaking course. For £28 per month, you get a pack each month with a paper pattern covering sizes 8-30. You get the video tutorials. A Zoom call with live questions gives you access to a community with the other subscribers.

We also develop a little bonus project each month, sending instructions and materials for you to make a smaller project.

We have a Facebook group. Our lovely subscribers generously share their makes. We welcome your questions, and will always help you if you get stuck.

There is no minimum stay; you can cancel your subscription anytime.
