Fishtail wedding dress in crepe and lace

Spread the love

Fishtail wedding dress was Kirsty’s chosen silhouette for her bespoke wedding dress. Kirsty had tried a lot of dresses on, but none was quite right for her.

We put all the ideas she had together and then started to source the crepe and other materials to achieve the look she wanted.

Heavy crepe fishtail wedding dress and a bespoke veil to match

Heavy crepe became the fabric choice for the dress. Then she had a rich satin for a deep belt on the dress. We found a lovely embroidered tulle with gold accent colour and pearl and sequin embroidery. Her fishtail dress is super fitted and because it has an internal fastening she gets great support. The dress fastens at the back with decorative buttons and loops. The dress is fully lined and beautifully finished.

Choosing a bespoke veil means Kirsty’s veil will match her dress as motifs are added from the lace of her dress to the veil. Doesn’t the veil look amazing with the embellishment and most importantly how it’s sitting on the train of the fishtail skirt?

The result is simply stunning! What a handsome couple, and what a uniform! We are loving the light and the snow in the background because the last couple of days have been so hot it feels hard to even remember the snow.

Their wedding venue was The Cruin based on the banks of Loch Lomond. On the day the most beautiful changing light came out, and beautiful photographs were shot of the handsome couple.

Thank you so much to Napier Photography for the beautiful work and for letting us share their work with you.
