Katie’s ideas to have a wedding with inspiration from the 1920s and held at the amazing Raasay, a small island off the Isle of Skye, came true.
Katie had spent time on the island previously with her now husband and they fell in love with the place. It was not the easiest place to organise a wedding from Edinburgh, but it all fell into place and certainly showed it was worth it.
We made Katie a soft wedding dress in silk satin with a beaded mesh overlay in ivory colour. She had heavier beaded motifs attached to the dress, beaded edgings on the neckline, a deep keyhole at the back and scallop edgings on the hemline.
We absolutely love the result and Katie was so lovely to work with.
