Donna had been with her partner for years. They had happily had 2 lovely kids together, so they decided on a summer wedding in New York.
Talking for years of getting married, they decided to secretly take the plunge. Their daughter was working at Camp in America, it seemed the perfect adventure to follow her to America. Once the trip was planned, they just had to get there and queue up at the town hall for the marriage licence.
On the day they had the wedding ceremony in the Town Hall, followed by family celebrations. The family enjoyed and spending some quality time together in the big apple the following days.
Donna had a lovely bespoke light silk satin chiffon dress because it would keep her cool in the New York summer heat. She had an ivory guipure lace overlay with low V-neck back and sleeves. She had covered buttons and loops at the back.
We loved making this dress for Donna and she said she felt like a million dollars on the day.
