Maria is such a cool girl you would just admire, she is working hard at her PhD and she is doing great at sports. She is the beautiful daughter of good friends. Working with her on her Wedding vision was just wonderful.
Maria wanted a bespoke dress with a full skirt and lace and some blue accent colour. This was the brief I got from her. We made her a fitted bodice with ivory lace overlay. The lace had a champagne cord enhancing the floral design. The colour really suited Maria. The lace created a sweetheart neckline on the front and a diamond neckline on the back. We made long sleeves in the dress with the scalloped lace framing her hands. Maria wanted the blue silk belt to tie in with Euans Highland dress.
I loved how the dress turned out. Making the skirt in a pure silk organza backed with pure silk dupion, Maria could her big skirt but with no weight to it. This would let her move light and easy from ceremony right through to the reception.
The venue was the stunning House for an Art Lover in Glasgow, and the photographs were taken by Joolz Hoogan who is a friend of Maria and Euan.
