A Silk Organza dress with heavy embellishment and aqua accent colour
A new lovely bride with the best ideas, venue, and photographer is just the best start to a new project.
It was just so when Joanna came to see me with all her ideas for the wedding. Bespoke dress with princess skirt, elaborate beadwork, and aqua blue accent were all on the list.
We helped her pick a full circle Chinese silk organza skirt with a strapless sweetheart neckline bodice. With that, she picked a heavily beaded lace with pearls and sequins. Finishing the lace top with silk chiffon belt, bow and sashes, and crystal beading.
We did some tricky little fastenings so the lace stayed put with little poppers and then the belt attached over.
For the evening the lace came off, and belt back on, and then a lovely big necklace for this evening look.
Not only were we asked to make the wedding dress and the different pieces, but we were also asked to make the outfit for the Mother of the bride and the grandmother of the bride.
We became so fond of the whole family. It was an absolute pleasure playing such a big role in this gorgeous day.
The wedding was taking place in Joanna’s family’s local church and then on to Dumfries House for the reception.
The day was full of laughter and music and fun.
