Clare had firm ideas that she wanted colour on her wedding dress. When i heard she was a botanist, i was sure we would have some flowers on her dress too.
Clare decided for a guipore lace bodice, the lace was backed with a pale green taffeta. The skirt was a gored skirt with Silk Satin Chiffon overlay. Clare had a silk crepe belt with a big flower at the back and sashes from the flower.
Clare’s wedding was going to be a relaxed outdoor affair. It was to be held in the garden at Low House in The Eden Valley, Cumbria, very close to where Clare was brought up and where she used to go for walks down by the river near the house. The Tipi’s in the grounds of the garden gave the wedding an absolutely lovely rustic feel with the benches and home grown flowers.
Clare was so pleased that her brother and his band Halflight played in the evening and that her lifelong friend Julia did hair and make up on the day. Clare would like to thank her parents and in particular her mum for helping organising so much of her wedding. We had the pleasure of having Clare’s mum here at the fittings.
Clare and Richard’s day turned out absolutely just how she wanted it.
We loved working with you Clare and wish you all the best for the future.
