Harris Tweed Wedding dress with Chantilly lace and silk in red colour. What else could a bride called Rot for middle name wear for her wedding on Luskentyre beach? The Red Wedding, in tweed from Harris, silk and lace. Nadin’s dress was a bespoke wedding dress. The bodice was made in a red and burgundy harris tweed, we cut it on the bias. I thought it suited Nadins hourglass shape much better than the rigid shapes of the check. To that, we added lovely red Chantilly lace sleeves. The skirt was red shot with black Orissa silk, pleated to the bodice…

Silk and Chantilly lace wedding dress

A Cream Silk with Chantilly lace overlay was Holly’s dress choice for her wedding dress. Carefully chosen dress details The dress has long sleeves and a low back with a diamond neckline. The silk was a cream shade and the lace ivory. The two colours gave the dress more colour, and most importantly more texture. Holly’s dress choice is based on our popular Laerke dress.  Holly changed the dress to have long lace sleeves and she also changed the neckline at the back.  The result is striking and perfect for her early spring wedding. Summer Wedding Outfit

An outfit for a fun informal summer wedding in the garden was what Kirsty had plans for when she first came to see us. Kirsty wanted a relaxed outfit and she wanted to wear trousers. The final result really matched her vision perfectly. Kirsty had a heavy brocade boned bodice with little buttons down the back and lovely silk crepe trousers.  The bodice had a “train” in silk chiffon, which she could take off after the ceremony.  Both the train and the bodice had little buttons and so the train could go on, and come off again.
