Muscari blue spring wedding in Edinburgh Botanics

Sophie has a beautiful almost elfin look about her. I was delighted to be asked to make her dress and i knew straight away it had to be something that would not over whelm her fine features. I suggested a heavy guipure lace, cut very fitted over a sweet heart neckline silk bodice with internal lace up and covered silk buttons. she had a fairly fitted heavy silk crepe skirt with a full circle skirt in fine french silk chiffon overlay. Sophie’s favorite colour was represented by a Muscari blue ruched silk chiffon belt with hand made roses and sashes…

It has been such a pleasure working with Laura. Very early on it became clear to me that nothing would be left to coincidence for her beautiful wedding to Jordan. They had booked the wonderful Crear Weddings venue on the remote coast of Argyll. They chose Craig from McBeth Photography to take their lovely photographs – his love of photographing scenery and quirky style was just what they were looking for. Gryffe Weddings were there to capture the day on video. Laura went for an ivory chinese silk organza wedding dress, in a mermaid shape, with a long full train and organza straps. The dress had an internal…
