When Laura was planning her wedding she had ideas of quite a contemporary wedding. She had booked the The Glasshouse Hotel Edinburgh for the ceremony and reception and it’s a lovely modern Wedding Venue just at the foot of Carlton Hill. Laura went for a long length bodice, with a lace overlay, it had a boned bodice with internal lace up and lots of structure and boning.   Keri-Ann had a whole folder with images of Vintage details she would like to include in her wedding preparations. It was much fun as it was apparent that both Keri-Ann and her 2 bridesmaids had given a lot of thought to what they wanted to wear on the day, and the whole theme of the wedding was to be enhanced with the bridesmaids dresses. Monica, came to see us about her wedding dress when we were in the old shop,.. then we moved.. and then suddenly Monica moved to the Far East, we got her dress nearly ready in the couple of weeks we had on our hands before she was moving, and then left the rest of the work till the week before the wedding, when she would be back in the UK. Emma had plans for her wedding to be a small intimate affair, only the closest people from her friends and family.   Kristy was such good fun to work with… she had been recommended to come and see us from Blue Sky Photography. Kirsty has a degree in costume design, and although she does not work today with her costume degree, it is clear to see she has a lot of artistic flair and design skills she use in her work.   Kirsty had given a lot of thought to her dress, she brought in an amazing drawing and had a little scrap book with details and period features and things she wanted involved in her dress….
