Borthwick Castle Wedding

Stunning dress at Borthwick Castle Borthwick Castle is a beautiful venue, and so needed a beautiful dress. This beautiful bride came to me with ideas of nude-champagne colours, gold thread, beaded embellishments and silk mesh. This was altogether in a soft layered textured combination for her beautiful wedding dress. We absolutely love the results. I want to show you a little about how the dress was constructed. As it had many layers, we, therefore, had to make the dress in stages. We started with the silk base and then added the beaded lace over the skirt. Then on the dummy,…

White Wedding Dress

Your wedding day is a big day. Arguably the biggest day of your life. Therefore you may wish it to be perfect. One tedious aspect of your day is what you are going to wear down the aisle. Picking your wedding dress can be a long process full of uncertainty. However, when you’ve finally found that perfect outfit there are a few different things you should take it to consideration. Pre-Lockdown Photoshoot

With there being so much uncertainty following many of the weddings we had planned we have found ourselves with a bit of free time we wouldn’t normally have. Taking full advantage we decided to work alongside the amazing photographer…

Truly Scottish Royal Mile Wedding

royal mile wedding

Zoe’s Truly Scottish Royal Mile Wedding Zoe and her husband were inspired by the idea of having a real Scottish wedding – and they nailed this. Their wedding included a walk down the Royal Mile! They had just been living in Australia and wanted a real Scottish wedding with a relaxed atmosphere and a ceilidh. That’s exactly what they had, and they chose Lothian Chambers for a lovely simple registry. They then walked down the Royal Mile to the City Chambers for their wedding reception, therefore giving them the perfect Scottish wedding! The photographs are courtesy of Nick Mailer and…

Nicaraguan and Scottish Wedding

Beautiful Nicaraguan and Scottish Wedding Natalia had so so many things organised for her absolutely epic Nicaraguan and Scottish barn wedding in Knockraich of Fintry. However, she didn’t have her dress organised – I think we started with only about 7 weeks to go. Natalia was hugely involved, she really has an eye for design and details. Natalia’s mum is from Nicaragua, the ideas and designs Natalia was going for had a real Latin feel to them. The venue was dressed from top to tail the day before by the bride and groom, their families and anyone who cared to…
