Gina and Jason had decided for double celebrations of their big day. First with a day out in Edinburgh, with their close friends. Then a blessing and a big party in a stunning house near Barcelona called Almiral De La Font.
It was such an amazing brief I got from Gina when she first came to see me. She was the most fun bride to work with. She and Jason are childhood sweethearts. I think they have imagined their wedding for years.
Gina first chose the biggest tulle skirt, a boned corset style satin top and a lace jacket to go on top. The idea was to have several pieces to swap and change between for the 2 celebrations.
For the formal ceremony in Edinburgh, we made Gina a skirt with high-low hemline. She picked a sequined top to wear with it, and fun shoes. She wanted to bring the skirt to the Barcelona celebrations to wear for the dancing.
We love the final look, of a fun Destination wedding. Gina has got a background in design and we can see her using her skills for all the details of the wedding. Gina commissioned her faux leather jacket with a painting of their 2 cats, chickens and goldfish…. LOVE IT!
