Elsie’s wedding day started off with a hill chase!
Elsie and Grant started their wedding day with a hill chase up their local hill. The perfect start to their day! Their venue was The Village Club in Strathblane and this was the perfect setting for their wedding.
We loved making Elsie’s dress for her special day. It was made from ivory silk chiffon with a ruched bodice and a sweetheart neckline. It also had lace straps and a skimming full-length skirt with a long train.
“I had no idea what style of dress I wanted other than white and long. It didn’t take me long to get in touch with Mette of Freja Designer Dressmaking. She’d made my older sisters wedding dress 5 years ago and my one and only bridal shop experience had been pretty uninspiring!
Mette is quite simply a genius and I loved the whole process of having my dress designed and made by her and her team, therefore from the first meeting and drawings to the finished dress. Perfect, and really fun!”
