Jumpsuit brides we love!
It is such a pleasure when we have brides with great contemporary ideas. Imogen was such a bride. Working as a makeup artist on film sets and period documentaries, she has such an eye for a really cool style.
The couple had a huge schedule planned around the Wedding. Imogen is from Australia. The couple was in the process of wrapping up their life in Scotland and move to Australia to live there. Lots and lots to do, but the top of the list was a lovely wedding day, to celebrate with friends and family. Sloans in Glasgow was the venue. I love Sloans we had a photoshoot there 2 years ago, I think its a fab venue.
Imogen’s idea was to have a bridal jumpsuit with lace details, and buttons down the back. she then chose a belt with embellishment made of knotted silk, pearls, and crystals. We also made a detachable cape or shoulder pieces that sat on the shoulders for the day time and buttoned off for night times party.
Imogen’s college friend Angie Davis from Near Balloch. I a great makeup artist and was working her magic on the day. Imogen tied her own flowers, they all just came to £35 what a talented girl.
After the wedding, the couple flew to Australia and there had a wedding number 2.
The jumpsuit had 3 outings, so at price per wear, it was a bargain. I LOVE when our outfits get a few outings. I wonder if Imogen might wear that again, I definitely think she could.
The photographer was Lauren Stirling Phototografy.
I felt such a bond to Imogen. She was from Adelaide, and this is where I met my Scottish husband, her best friend was from my hometown… I mean, how is that for coincidence?
I want to wish Imogen and Gregor all the best for their new life in Adelaide.
