Many mums come to us, with no clue what to wear to their son or daughter’s wedding. Winter is the hardest season to dress for. You want to be comfortable and warm while still being stylish.
You ideally want to have something in a thicker fabric, you could have a lighter dress with an additional wrap or jacket to match. Alternatively, we love making coat dresses in a thicker wool crepe or tweed. We’ve made Chanel-style tweed dresses that keep a bit of warmth in too. Fashion is all about personal preference. There is no wrong way to dress if that’s what you feel comfortable in.
It can feel like a lot of pressure to dress perfectly when you’re one of the mums in the wedding party. However, rest assured we will make sure you feel your best for the big day. We can work in the wedding colour palette or specific fabrics you wish to have. Whether it’s a long dress, short dress, two-piece or a suit we can make it happen.
