Anna and Jackie became Mrs & Mrs at The Treehouse at Loch Goil in August, what a dream like venue on a beautiful summers day.
We absolutely loved the brief for Anna and Jackie’s wedding. They wanted a fun informal “weather permitting” outdoors wedding at this beautiful wedding venue in the summer in Scotland.
Anna was set on a short lace wedding dress. She likes this stunning lace in a porcelain colour. The lace has beading and an Art deco design. The lace has gorgeous edging and it’s denser on one side and become less dense as we come further away from the edge. So using the more embellished edge for the hemline of the skirt and the sleeve hem, makes it look beautiful and lighter on the rest of the dress.
The lace is backed with a nude coloured soft satin. Anna wanted a big bow with sashes at the back.
Jackie went for a trouser suit. She picked this lovely shetland wool in a dark navy. Then a soft blue pure cotton for her shirt and a Harris tweed for her bow tie. Although the suit had many features of a man’s suit, we made it really feminine with the cut and the purple lining and all of that. It works so well with all the accessories too. I love the fact that she didn’t pick a jacket, it’s a much softer and informal look like that and I think they go perfectly together.
Anna and Jackie had help from their hairdresser, Steven Henderson Hair on Roseburn Terrace.
How gorgeous are the pictures? pure happiness.
