Edinburgh Castle Wedding
I hope I don’t upset anyone by saying that when Natalie came to see me the first time, she already had a dress. She was pressured to buy the dress in a shop and this resulted in her disliking the dress. They said to her, “if you don’t buy today you will not have a dress for your wedding”.
After the rushed decision, she decided the dress wasn’t for her. She really wanted to wear something special she had chosen.
She came to see me with some lovely stylish photographs she had chosen from Pinterest. We chose a couple of details from different dresses and looked at laces and fabrics.
As a result, she got her very own special dress.
I think she looked amazing. Natalie and Gavin had the wedding at Edinburgh Castle in one of the busy months of the high season, then they went on to have a fun reception at the Glass House.
Natalie loved her dress and I just think she looks amazing in it, all her plans came together on the day.
Her dress is a soft fit and flare skirt, with a beaded lace bodice with long sleeves. The lace is layered and therefore gives it such a couture feel.
“Beyond phenomenal service, attention to detail and care. I cannot rate my entire experience with Mette and Freja dressmaking enough. I would recommend every single bride to be to have their dress made here, I miss the entire experience and would do it ten times over if I could. Exceptionally talented team and the most memorable part of my entire wedding (as well as my handsome husband) xxx”
