Sequins and stunning lace and beautiful headdress… so proud, I felt it all came together perfectly.
So lovely that Moira had heard about Freja from a few different people and she came in to talk about her wedding dress. She had some ideas and I pointed her towards this beautiful sophisticated lace. The lace is a contemporary design with a scallop leafy design and shimmering sequins. The lace is made with a textured thread that looks like linen and gives it lots of character.
The Dress also had a deep cowl neck collar on the back. It was made in really rich pure silk satin and draped beautifully. The collar gave a stunning detail at the back.
The Milliner Alex Muir was contacted to make a headdress. The headdress was constructed with the crown covered in the lace, so it had the same shimmer as the dress. Then beautiful textured fabric roses and silk loops have decorated the crown. Last was a beautiful birdcage veil over her face. This could be turned up for after the ceremony.
We absolutely love how it all came together.
The lovely bride and groom had several attempts at getting the wedding organised to comply with Covid Restrictions. At the 3rd go, it went ahead. They had a fun and beautiful day. Sadly not all relatives could make it due to travel restrictions still being in place. But this didn’t prevent the happy guests from having a really fun time.
The venue was the garden room at the Norton House and everything was in place for the perfect day. Lovely flowers, and a live band for the evening.
