A Cream Silk with Chantilly lace overlay was Holly’s dress choice for her wedding dress.
Carefully chosen dress details
The dress has long sleeves and a low back with a diamond neckline. The silk was a cream shade and the lace ivory. The two colours gave the dress more colour, and most importantly more texture.
Holly’s dress choice is based on our popular Laerke dress. Holly changed the dress to have long lace sleeves and she also changed the neckline at the back. The result is striking and perfect for her early spring wedding.
The wedding reception was held at the Royal botanic garden. We are proud to be a recommended supplier at the Royal Botanic gardens because we have been part of many great, individual weddings here. We think it’s a great place for a wedding and this wedding is a new favourite.
Links to Holly’s family
Working with Holly was great. A few years ago we made the wedding dress wedding dress to Holly’s brother’s fiance. They married at a stunning wedding in Rassay, which was featured here on We fell in love blog.
We also know Holly’s parents as they are the owners of Inverleith Hotel.
A few of our brides have taken advantage of their beautiful hotel. Holly got ready in Inverleith hotel. The Hotel is the perfect place get ready for a wedding. There are beautiful rooms with lots of light and the hotel it is in a great location, next to the Botanic gardens.
The days leading up to the wedding the weather was really bad. As by a miracle, on the day they managed pockets of good weather. The weather was good enough to be outside and enjoy the garden, furthermore to have lovely photographs taken in the gardens.
All through the fittings of the wedding dress, we had been treated to snippets of wedding planning. We love even more how it all came together on the day. It was an absolute pleasure being involved.
Rosepark delivered the beautiful flowers. Kalon Hair Salon was responsible for the lovely wedding hair.
Thank you so much to Glitter and Twigs for letting us use their beautiful pictures.
