Stunning Emerald Green Silk Wedding Dress

What can we say about this stunning emerald green silk wedding dress, there are no words. From the minute Nina stepped into our shop we had such a great time bouncing ideas around to create her perfect dress.

The Wedding Dress

We created this luxurious emerald green silk wedding dress for Nina. It featured an off-the-shoulder fake wrap style collar which sat so beautifully. The skirt was A-line with deep pleats and it sat very full but with no train. We had masses of netting underneath the dress to create all the volume. The bodice had lots of boning to keep the shape and add some structure to the gown. The back had an internal lace-up with buttons to cover. The skirt had a concealed zip for ease. It also had pockets!!! Enough said, that needs zero embellishment. We love pockets so much in wedding dresses.

Nina already knew what tartan would be featured in the wedding so we worked to match the green of her dress to compliment the tartan. If you wish to go for a coloured wedding dress we can happily work a colour scheme in. We have made other green wedding dresses in different shades to compliment the bride. Bespoke fashion has endless options for colour, fabric, and textures. It’s not just about a white wedding anymore and we LOVE it!!

Nina’s now husband had the same fabric from her dress in his tie. We also made bouquet ties in the same fabric and loved how it turned out.

The Bridesmaid Dress

Then we made Nina’s bridesmaid Jennifer’s dress. This was created in a silk dupion with a silk chiffon floaty overlay. The dress had a concealed zip back which was covered by the silk chiffon, which looked like a cape.

We were so honoured that she travelled all the way from Canada to have her dress made by us for the big day.
