Suits for Weddings is something we adore. Some brides (much like our jumpsuit brides) feel more comfortable and like themselves in a suit/two piece.
Fabrics
We have done many gorgeous wedding suits. We especially like working in bold or luxurious fabrics like tartan and velvet. There is nothing better than a statement power suit, especially on your wedding day.
Whether you go for mixed patterns or textures, an array of colour or just one your suit is going to look amazing. As we are a fully bespoke service the possibilities are endless.
Accessorizing
Some people like to go for the trousers and Jacket with a top underneath. Some people go the whole way with a waistcoat too. The waistcoat is the perfect way to add a pop of colour or a wild pattern if you don’t want a fully bright suit.
I love when couples match with their suits. Whether it be two suits with different colourways or a dress and suit with matching elements. It’s great when a couple has a colourful waistcoat that matches an element of the dress. Or one having a blue suit with tartan waistcoat and the other having a tartan suit with blue waistcoat.
Suits are the perfect wedding day outfit for any bride, a white wide leg suit with silk shirt and embellished veil would be stunning. Although the idea of suits for weddings has been around for a long time I think some brides can feel intimidated by the idea of a suit for their big day. Especially if its not something they’ve tried or thought about before. It is definitely a bold choice, unexpected for some. We always love how they turn out and we see some of the most confident brides rocking their power suits.
You could make an understated suit with palazzo style trousers that almost look like a skirt and a small fitted jacket and corset bodice.
Not many bridal retailers verge into suits, the popularity for them has only just started to rise with them being featured in high fashion magazines. Something like a light linen suit for a beach elopement would be fabulous.
