Zoe’s Truly Scottish Royal Mile Wedding
Zoe and her husband were inspired by the idea of having a real Scottish wedding – and they nailed this. Their wedding included a walk down the Royal Mile! They had just been living in Australia and wanted a real Scottish wedding with a relaxed atmosphere and a ceilidh. That’s exactly what they had, and they chose Lothian Chambers for a lovely simple registry. They then walked down the Royal Mile to the City Chambers for their wedding reception, therefore giving them the perfect Scottish wedding!
The photographs are courtesy of Nick Mailer and captured the beautiful moments of their day perfectly – including their first glimpse at each other before the ceremony. Although this is un-traditional, this gave them time to spend with each other before the wedding.
Zoe’s dress was a gorgeous soft fishtail dress in ivory, with Chantilly lace and buttonhole details at the back.
